Can I drive on a 400 series highway with a G1?
No, only a Certified Driving Instructor can accompany a G1 driver on any roads 80 km or more.
I already hold an AZ license, do I have to take the Mandatory Entry Level?
No, If you currently hold a classified license, it’s not required. However, if you allow the license to expire, the training is required to regain full A and Z requirements.
My 83 year old mother has to go to the Ministry of Transportation, what can we expect?
The Ministry will verify the applicant, do a vision test, cognitive test, knowledge test and usually an information session.
Can I choose the Driver Examiner?
No, the automated self check in is random selection. Whichever Examiner is running the corresponding testing level will be assigned tests randomly.
What happens if my license sticker has expired and I arrive to do my road test?
If you purchased a renewal sticker on-line and have the paperwork and receipt the road test will proceed. If no paperwork or new sticker is present, the Examiner will deem the test Out of Order and you will loose half of the road test fee.
